Line Extension Requires Re-branding
First, it was Sip; a wine bar & retail wine merchant. Later, Sip decided to expand its offerings to include a full tapas menu, and wine by the sip, half glass or full glass. Our challenge was to re-introduce and brand Sip as Sip Wine & Tapas to its existing clientele and introduce it to foodies as well, without alienating the wine loving customer base.
We incorporated beautiful photographs of their food, and created a compelling tagline for their existing logo. We used a variety of local media, including some glossier, upscale magazines, we introduced Sip to nearby schools, offering parents a percentage off one night a week, and targeted local neighborhoods with door-hangar advertisements.
Today, Sip Wine & Tapas is in full swing, offering patrons both food and wine with equal success.
